The City of Cloquet abides by both International Building Code and Minnesota State Building Code.
Verification of Contractor Certification Lead Based Paint Poisoning Prevention
Beginning August 1, 2011, the City of Cloquet will require all licensed Residential Building Contractors, Residential Remodelers, Manufactured Home Installers, and Residential Roofers to provide proof of certification in lead based paint poisoning prevention prior to obtaining permits for renovation work in residential properties constructed prior to 1978.
