Water and sewer services are billed on the 10th of each month according to metered usage. Meters are read electronically at the end of every month and are based on actual usage. Leaks and large water consumption due to watering lawns, gardens or filling swimming pools are quickly and easily identified.

Stormwater utility charges are based on residential equivalency factors (REFs). One REF represents the amount of runoff from a typical single family residential property. All single family properties are assigned one REF. More intensively developed properties such as commercial or industrial are assigned REFs based on the amount of impervious surface.

Online Services

The Utility Department offers online services to pay utility bills, enroll in E-bill and the Autopay Plan, and view a two year history of utility accounts. Select the "Pay Your Utility Bill" in the sidebar to learn more.

Irrigation Meters

Irrigation meters are available for customers who do a large amount of summer watering. The water is metered separately from regular household consumption and there are no sewer charges billed to the irrigation usage. The cost of the meter and plumbing is at the customer’s expense but is offset by the decreased sewer charges. The payback can be as little as one to two years depending on the amount of watering.

New Customers/Discontinue Service

Customers needing to set up new service or discontinue service, please call our office at least one week in advance to schedule the final reading. Final Bills and New Services can also be scheduled by using our online request forms.
