There are several business and liquor licenses which are regulated by Cloquet City Code. The City Administrator's office regulates the majority of licensing.
When submitting your license application, please read through the application carefully. The City does not accept incomplete license applications or applications that do not include the required documentation as listed in the application. Application, required documentation and full payment must all be included in your submittal.

Approval:
All licenses require City Council approval. City Council meetings are the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Note: Transient merchant licenses/permits are currently not being accepted.

*Liquor Licenses: Most new liquor licenses require both a City of Cloquet application and a State of MN Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement (AGED) application. Please obtain the proper AGED forms.
