Current City employment opportunities are listed below. All positions require the completion of an application form. The application form may vary from job to job depending on the requirements for the position. This information is necessary for us to conduct reference checks, driver's license verification and criminal history checks. Resumes may be attached, but not substituted for a City employment application form.

For summer or winter seasonal work with the Public Works and/or Parks and Recreation Departments, a Supplemental Application Form must be submitted with the city application.

The Cloquet Police Department is currently seeking applicants for full-time police officers' openings within our organization. Under the direction of the Chief of Police, this position is responsible for preserving law and order, the protection of life and property, the prevention and detection of crime, the provision of emergency services, and the enforcement of laws and ordinances.
